My May and June

It’s been a while..

Yeah I know it and I’m here to say sorry for no updates this few weeks! I guess almost a month isn’t it? Hmm… I guess I have to start blogging again but I think it’s only for today because I have lots of test and assignments and the final examinations is just around the block.

Actually tomorrow there’s a test going on in the morning but it has been cancelled and that’s why I want to blog it all to you guys! There is a talk from the Tourism Board both from Sabah and Malaysia. So, we asked for postpone in our test and Miss C approved. Thanks to her! I think it is a good opportunity to listen as it is related to tourism. Thanks to Miss Venezuela for telling us about it. If she didn’t come to our class this afternoon, we might not know about this talk. I love you miss and in fact, I miss your class.

Now, today I would love to update about…

Oh ya! Before that, I told you all about Mari Mari Cultural Village right? Erm.. Can I extend? Haha. Because there are too many pictures and I wanted to make it in to a video so that you all can see it all. I can’t upload all of the pictures here because it’s really too much of it. So, I might need time to do this. Perhaps after final exams? It’s going to be on the mid of August. Please wait! Lots of things you can learn about Sabah Culture! Really!

So, here I also want to include that my boyfriend, Aldrich has been back from Kuching, Sarawak on the 29 June midnight. I know it’s a bit late to tell this. I really have so much to do! And I feel sorry that I couldn’t really spend time with him this time. He just sits beside me and waits until I finished up my stuffs or else I will study for my test and he played my lappy. I’m sorry baby and I love you. P/s: He’s tougher now than before but still I’m tougher than he is! Believe me, I can carry him up without his foot on the floor. Right, baby?

Oh ya! There’s some more. Inti Night just over on the 4^th July 2009 and I took pictures at that night. The theme in a masquerade night but there are only few people who were wearing their mask. It’s a little hard for us to eat while having the mask on our face. But it was fun that night because it’s only my first time attending Inti Night. Not much of the pictures of the whole situation but I did sing on the stage. LOL! Don’t ask me for the video but pictures, sure can. I will upload it here or making it to a video. By the way, I sang ‘The Climb’ by Miley Cyrus. Today, I saw the school stick a page of the newspaper ‘Sabah Times’ publishes about Inti Night and OH! I SAW ME! Lol.. Can’t really see my face but I can recognize my dress haha.

Anyway, one of my best and close friend, Jackson who I blogged about earlier in my blog, he had graduated from MiddleSex University London. I’m happy for him and huggies for you dear! Before that he told me he was afraid that he couldn’t pass but in my mind he’s a brilliant guy. He asked me whether I could attend his graduation or visit him while his family was going as well but I can’t. Now, he’s like having tours all around UK and I’m jealous of him so so much! But then, he told me that it’s like I’m with him all day even though I’m not walking with him in London. Uhhh… *hugs*and the bad news from him is that, the wallet that I bought for him was stolen. Well, it’s ok dear. You didn’t get hurt, it’s ok.

More to say, another best and close friend of mine, Caren, she is my dear as well. She is in a relationship now and I’m happy for her too. For so many years and for sudden that she told me about thinking a guy and love him. Finally her mind had cleared and moves on. Stay strong my dear, and don’t be hesitate to tell me everything. Remember, I’m your Sakura and you are my Kero. *Muaks* Let is do the brainstorm together and don’t keep it all in yourself. You need someone to talk to as well just like the human needs air to breath.

After that, it was all the assignments and test just boom out day by day rushing up for works, discussions, thinking of lots and lots of things. I do miss my friends and I miss you all. I know I’m always reply comments later than the date you had sent. Sorry about it. Forgive?

I didn’t realize that I typed this long!

I think it’s because I get used to type those assignments.

Blame the assignments that I was like became 38 aunt.

Haha!

Labuan Trip Part 3

Sorry that I didn’t update again…
Sorry sorry!!

I am having a test week two weeks ago and this week is an assignment week to me as it is near to the due date. I get one of my results and I am really happy with it. For real, I never get that high mark before in my college and my lecturer gave me a present. Huh~ what a week! Tired and I didn’t have much time to sleep and I fully use up my brain to think about the answers for my case study. *shake shake head* Now I realize, case study is really hard.

About today,
I went to this Mari Mari Cultural Village that located quite far from the Inanam main town. I will upload the pictures and videos someday! I must upload those video for you all to have a look in Sabah’s cultural! Plus, I am in the video dancing for the Bamboo dance of Murut culture.

Now let me continue with my Labuan trip!

Let me tell you about my trip to Labuan.

2 Days 1 Night in Labuan.
Transport: Ferry (RM36 one way)
Task: Wedding Dinner + Shop for Chocolates

Away to Labuan

Hi Everyone!
I have to inform you that I will be going to Labuan for a day.

Well, it's my mum's best friend's daughter.
She's getting married and congratulations to her. Wish her all the happiness here.

I have to attend her wedding banquet which I suppose to accompany my mum since I have been told that dad will be working on that day. Now, my dad is going because his work already been cancelled.

Good news is,
I can have a break from whatever I have in mind recently and it's been a while that I haven't really get out from this country because I get used to it when I was still studying in KL.
The most important which is, I can spend time with my parents.

Sadly, there will be no updates from me for tomorrow! Haha! Not sad.. because this few weeks, my blogs are not up to date but yesterday I just did!

Going to Labuan is my second time.
That time I was still in my primary and I can't recall how Labuan is. BUT I did remember that I have to buy lots of chocolates from there!

So, guess this is it.
Good night to all as I have to wake up at 6am and catch the ferry at 8am tomorrow.

My mum say,
"Tomorrow, when I shout you 'wake up' then you have to wake up ahhh~"

Restaurant Original Village Recipe

Hello Everyone!
Sorry again for the late updates.

Recently I felt tired. Keep on and on.
Do you know why? Tell me because I don’t really know.
My eyes are closing… even now.
For real, *closing*

This restaurant is located at Damai.
Just behind Yoyo.

Believe me,
This place is nice but I think they have to improve the foods. The services are great whereas the boss herself serves us like in a home.

Teas are refillable.

We ordered dumplings with Pumpkin fillings and another one with Green Pepper.

I must tell you that, the dumplings with Pumpkin fillings are the one I’m not satisfied with. This is because I can’t smell the scent and taste of pumpkin while it is placed on my mouth by that time. On the other hand, the Green Pepper fillings are nice and I give it a two thumb up!

Price: RM8.00 for 10pcs

Normal restaurant’s price will be RM6.00.
So, why don’t give a try by paying additional RM2?

Harvest Festival

Hello Everyone!

Now, I would like to blog something related to Harvest Festival also known as Pesta Kaamatan. Every year 30 & 31 May are the celebration of the natives in Sabah the Harvest Festival and Sarawak the Pesta Gawai.

This is one of the attractions here in Sabah.

There is a phrase by the Kadazan Dusun people for greeting Harvest Festival in Kadazan language is
“Kotobian Tadao Tagazo Do Kaamatan”

Lazy Chloe is Back

Hello everybody!

I’m extremely sorry that I was so busy to update because I attended two weddings last two weeks. Both are my cousins from both of my parent’s sides.
Don’t worry; I will post their wedding pictures sooner or later. Haha!

Plus, school reopen makes me kind of lazy and didn’t really have the mood but I know I have to study. LOL... That’s what happens when school reopens. More to say, the weather in Kota Kinabalu is like you are in a sauna for 40degree heat!

Recently, I didn’t really have the mood to eat as well. I know what you all gonna say now..
"EAT CHLOE EAT! If not, NO foods picture in this blog!!!"

I admit that I use cold water to bath.
I didn’t freeze during my shower everyday because I really can’t feel the cold. Realize how hot issit now?

Sweet Daily Korean Cake House

Hi everyone!

Can you believe that I have class this morning and I really really don't wanna get up from my warm chilly bed. My class is at 9am and I just wish I can sleep til whenever I can. But, I can't. God! Help me!

Well, skip that Chloe.

This is what I wanna introduce to you all!

This place is not in France, is not in Korea,
but it is
Damai, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
The shoplots just behind Yoyo as well.
If you see a white frame shop, that's it!

Meatball brought me to this place.
I found that this shop is actually selling cakes which highly decorated. Sorry that I couldn't take pictures of the cakes and I did asked the shopkeeper for premission but still, No.

This shop is owned by Koreans.
The cakes, the cookies, make me wish that I own that shop! It's lovely as you see from the outside and the inside.

But here I tell you.. The price list is slightly expensive but sure it's worth! You won't loss anything just to buy one to try it right?

I really wish that I can sit down there,
Watch the cakes as I ordered,
Enjoy the cakes by sitting on the sofa (Only one!),
Take my spoon and close my eyes,
Feel the cheese go through my throat,
He hold my hands and look deep to my eyes,
Using the little tiny spoon to feed me,
And we are so happy and enjoy by that little tiny mini things we can do.

Too bad, he is not with me...
I just take away.
